Johntez "G3" Best was born April 14th 1991 in Detroit, Michigan and now resides in Atlanta, Ga as he continues to gear as a future mogul in the Hip-Hop community. Growing up in Detroit had it challenges especially the oldest of 6 siblings in which they all were raised by a strong single mom in which her name is Naykeya Best. Struggling from poverty/foster care early on in his childhood caused G3 to close himself in from the outside world in which he use to write small fictional stories about anything that would capture him imagination.

 

 

Music for G3 was never in his plans, he didn’t grow up listening to all of the old school Hip-Hop records that would inspire him to one day pick up the mic. Instead on the night of October 8th 2009 around 3 a.m his world was ripped apart by his contraction of the H1N1, pneumonia and a staph infection in his blood. This potential lethal combination caused G3 to be on life support for 23 days straight. Fighting through physical therapy on gaining his ability to walk again, talk, gain back his motor skills proposed a huge challenge but only he knew what would soon happen next in his life. G3 wanted to write and record 1 song for his family to show his appreciation and it was a cover to "Kanye West - Touch the sky". This record was one of many that fueled his passion to continue telling his story through music. With numerous of singles rotating all over the web. G3 shows no signs of slowing up anytime soon.

 

Early 2017 G3 started his "No Lies Clothing” line along with his website featuring all brand new merchandise branded with his signature “IMsoG3” logo. Thank you for visiting !
